THE 6 STEP PROCESS
The 6-Step Process is the ongoing journey schools take as part of the Healthy Schools Program. This process requires program members to continuously evaluate and improve upon their school's health and wellness initiatives and learn from successes and challenges to create sustainable change. When repeated each year, the 6-Step Process helps HOW TO USE THE ACTION PLAN From the Action Plan. From the category column you want the item in, click “Add item.”. Then choose which Assessment you’d like to select from. This will provide a list of all questions with their status and a checkbox. Nutrition Services. School nutrition services have an important job: nourish students with delicious meals that appeal to their varied tastes. Why? Because good nutrition is linked to better attendance, higher test scores, and greater focus and energy throughout the day. Also, healthy eating habits can last a lifetime. CLASSROOM PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Classroom Physical Activity. Movement in the classroom has been shown to boost students' daily minutes of physical activity and support academic learning through improved behavior and focus.
