COVID-19 VACCINE
mRNA Vaccine. Both the Pfizer-BioNTech and the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are mRNA vaccines. This means they use mRNA to teach the body’s cells how to make a protein which will cause your body to have an immune response and make antibodies. These antibodies then help fight an infection if the virus, which causes COVID-19, laterenters the body.

If you received a first dose of vaccine in another setting or region and need to book a second dose: Anyone who received their first dose of vaccine in another setting or region and now needs to book a second dose within the next 4 weeks can do so through our online booking page or by calling 226-289-3560 (8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Sunday).
