HIGH POWER ROCKETRY
The B-21 bomber, formerly the Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-B) is a proposed long-range strategic bomber for the United States Air Force, intended to be a heavy-payload stealth aircraft capable of carrying thermonuclear weapons. Initial capability is expected in the mid-2020s. A request for proposal to develop the aircraft was issuedin July 2014.

A manned mission would be one of the best choices. HIGH POWER ROCKETRY: THE SQUARE KILOMETER ARRAY The Square Kilometer Array. Here you have the team before theflight.

HIGH POWER ROCKETRY: RIPPLE ROCK 1958 (CANADA) The explosion took place at 9:31:02 am on April 5, 1958. 635,000 metric tons of rock and water was displaced by the explosion, resulting in debris at least 300 meters in the air, falling on land on either side of the narrows. The sides of the hexagon are about 13,800 km (8,600 mi) long, which is longer than the Earth's diameter. It rotates with a period of 10h 39m 24s, the same period as Saturn's radio emissions from its interior.HIGH POWER ROCKETRY

HIGH POWER ROCKETRY: .50 BMG FLECHETTE ANTI-TANK ROUND If we can trust the (absolutely massive) mass above, this round exits the barrel with Just over 8,000 foot-lbs. This is insane considering the tiny nosecone on that dart, but still 4,000 - 6,000 less than a .50 BMG. By comparison, the Gau - 8 fires a PGU-14/B armor piercing incendiary that is about 425 grams at 3500 fps. HIGH POWER ROCKETRY: LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION Level 1 Certification. (Stock photo of the Graduator, now over 10 years old.) Today I got my level 1 re-certification at a METRA launch. The cert flight was a LOC Graduator on a pro x H133-9, this is a 163 NS motor with a fast blue propellant. The flight was fast, high, and landed at the edge of the field, just dipping a fin into a drainageditch.
HIGH POWER ROCKETRY: O TO N TWO STAGE FLIGHT O to N two stage flight. This rocket is one of the largest two stage amateur flights to date. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2016 B-21 BOMBER REVEALED The B-21 bomber, formerly the Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-B) is a proposed long-range strategic bomber for the United States Air Force, intended to be a heavy-payload stealth aircraft capable of carrying thermonuclear weapons. Initial capability is expected in the mid-2020s. A request for proposal to develop the aircraft was issued in July 2014. The Air Force plans to purchase 80–100 LRS-B aircraft at a cost of $550 million each (2010 dollars). A development contract was awarded to Northrop Grumman in October 2015.0 comments

SATURDAY, JANUARY 9, 2016 MOTES OF DUST IN A SUNBEAM “Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.” ― Carl Sagan, Pale Blue Dot : A Vision of the Human Future in Space0 comments
