The Local History & Archives department (LH&A) collects and holds material that document the growth, development, and activities of the Hamilton-Wentworth region.TURNER PARK BRANCH
Turner Park Branch. Opened in 2009, Turner Park Branch shares a stunning multi-use facility with the YMCA. The single-floor Branch offers materials and programming for children, youths, adults and seniors. The Turner Park Branch is located at 352 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9B 1C2.GREENSVILLE BRANCH
The Greensville Branch was established in 1969, replacing a deposit station. It has been in its current plaza location since 1989. The Branch offers materials for children, teens and adults, as well as programming for adults and children.TERRYBERRY BRANCH
Terryberry Branch was most recently renovated in 2012. The Branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults. Extended study hours are available at this branch. Saltfleet Branch. The Saltfleet Branch was founded in 1921 and moved to various locations before its current permanent site in 2000, which is a shared location with Cardinal Newman High School on Highway 8. The Branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults. The Satlfleet Branch is located at 131 Gray Rd, Stoney CreekANCASTER BRANCH
The Ancaster Branch first opened in 1955. The branch moved several times over the following decade. The library arrived at its current location on Wilson Street in 1967 as a Centennial project. All physical items currently out on loan are due one week after we reopen. All items ready for pick up during our closure will be held until the library reopens. No holds notifications will be sent out during the closure. If you have dropped off library materials at one of our 22 branches, but the items are still showing up as out on your account, rest assured we have them. We haven't had a chance to check them in yet. Fines will not accumulateduring our closure.
