Alice DuBose is the Founder of Philanthropy RX, a fundraising consultant firm that she founded in 2006.Philanthropy Rx works closely with key staff, volunteers and leaders to design and implement fundraising programs and campaigns 3ARTS | DISABILITY CULTURE LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE Beginning in 2020, 3Arts and Bodies of Work set about to increase our advocacy efforts by launching the Disability Culture Leadership Initiative (DCLI), a multilayered project involving the production of videotaped conversations and a convening with eleven artists who had participated in our 3Arts Residency Fellowships at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). 3ARTS | MARIAM PARÉ Mariam Paré is a visual artist and mouth-painter. She became a quadriplegic at the age of 20 after surviving an act of gun violence. Mariam taught herself to paint by holding the brushes in her mouth and began to develop her artistic practice. Today, Mariam is a well-recognized creative talent, celebrated for her colorful portraits and multi-media works.3ARTS

Chicka-Dee-Dee-Dee! is my current project-in-development, a visual and textual essay exploring the relationships between people, flora, and fauna in landscapes and cityscapes of North America, giving special emphasis to prairielands and their native grasses. The project will accumulate into a short film of multidisciplinary works put to video and shot in varied and seemingly idiosyncratic 3ARTS | MIRTES ZWIERZYNSKI Mirtes is a visual artist, muralist, and teaching artist. She was born in Brazil and has lived in Chicago since 1981. Her studio work, through either individual or collective exhibitions, has been extensively shown in the Chicago area. She has also shown work in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Brazil. Mirtes left Brazil for Paris as a political refugee, and her studio work reflects her lifelong concern 3ARTS | WILLIAM ESTRADA William Estrada was born to immigrant parents and grew up assembling memories in California, Chicago, and Mexico. His teaching and art making practice focus on exploring inequality, migration, historical passivity, cultural recognition, self-preservation, and media representation in marginalized communities. Through painting and drawing, Carlson entangles cultural narratives while questioning institutional authority over objects based on the merit of possession. Ginger Lane began her dance training in Chicago with Edna McRae, and continued her training with John Kriza and Ruth Ann Koesun of American Ballet Theatre, Gus Giordano, and dance faculty at the Interlochen Center for the Arts where she studied on a scholarship. Ginger received her B.S. in Theatre and Communication from Northwestern University and began performing and teaching throughout the 3ARTS | WILLIAM ESTRADA William Estrada was born to immigrant parents and grew up assembling memories in California, Chicago, and Mexico. His teaching and art making practice focus on exploring inequality, migration, historical passivity, cultural recognition, self-preservation, and media representation in marginalized communities. He renders the flora and fauna of his native Illinois with the same intense passion he uses to depict endangered species in the Amazon or those already extinct and lost over time. With my Ghost Trees project, I have an opportunity to make and exhibit a series of new ceramic, sculptural, and photographic works that poetically explore the magnificence and regenerative cycles of old-growth forests.
