Notes for Guidance provide those administrating bankruptcy and protected trust deeds in Scotland with Accountant in Bankruptcy's interpretation of the legislative process. They also provide access to sources of relevant information. Trustee notes for guidance from 30 November 2016 Previous guidance: Trustee notes for guidance from 1 April 2015 - 29 November 2016 Trustee notes EDEN LIVE | ACCOUNTANT IN BANKRUPTCY The eDEN site is now available for use for new applications only and can be accessed using this link. https://eden.aib.gov.uk/eDEN Users who have been active on DASH will be able to log in using their existing username. They have to select the reset password link and await an email. The email address for each user has been migrated from DASH. If this is a generic organisation email it willFULL ADMINISTRATION
Regardless of which route you enter bankruptcy, you will have certain obligations to meet: Full Administration In a bankruptcy through Full Administration you will not be discharged until at least 12 months from the date of your award of bankruptcy. Your discharge is dependent on your co-operation, therefore if you have not co-operated with your trustee your discharge can be deferred indefinitely.FORM 4.25 PAGE 1

AIB - REGISTER OF INSOLVENCIES - PRIVACY POLICY & CONTENT The Register of Insolvencies (the Register) is an online public register which holds information on the insolvency of individuals and businesses in Scotland and individuals granted a moratorium . The Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) is required by statute to maintain the Register and make it available for public inspection. DEBT ARRANGEMENT SCHEME DAS is not insolvency, it is the only statutory debt management plan in the UK. It gives someone in debt much-needed breathing space and allows them to repay their debts in full through a debt payment programme over an extended period of time. SCOTTISH STATUTORY DEBT SOLUTIONS STATISTICS Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) has released experimental statistics reporting statutory debt solutions in Scotland for May 2021. Main points for June 2020 to May 2021 (compared with June 2019 to May 2020) All main points within this section are presented on a 12-month rolling basis. There were 7,215 personal insolvencies in the 12 months to May 2021 (inclusive), 5,423 (42.9%) AIB AGENCY FRAMEWORK The Agency Framework Document describes and sets out: the responsibilities of the Accountant in Bankruptcy and Scottish Ministers; the relationship between the Accountant in Bankruptcy and the Scottish Ministers; the Agency's objectives and performance measures, and; the management and resources framework within which the Agency will operate.
