Home Care for the Elderly (HCE) Program The Home Care for the Elderly (HCE) program provides assistance to older adults 60 and older and their caregivers in family-type living arrangements within private homes, as an alternative to institutional or nursing home care. A basic subsidy averaging $160 per month is provided for all programparticipants.
OAA PROGRAM
The Older Americans Act (OAA) program provides funding for a wide array of social services for persons age 60 and older. It was enacted in 1965 and has been amended periodically over time. OAA Title IIIB: This title under the Older Americans Act provides funding for supportive service programs to help improve the well-being of PEARLS – ALLIANCE FOR AGING It is home-based and provides eight 60-minute sessions with a trained PEARLS counselor over a six-month period. Your PEARLS trained counselor will work with you one-on-one by phone. If you would like to start talking with a PEARLS counselor one-on-one, please contact us at programs@allianceforaging.org, call 305-670-6500, or submit the formbelow.
