NURTURING A WELCOMING, CONNECTED, AND LEADERFUL CLIMATE COMMUNITY, ROOTED IN THE WORK AND WISDOM OF WOMEN, TO GROW A LIFE-GIVING FUTURE. Welcome to the feminist climate renaissance. We’re glad you’rehere.

THE PROBLEM: THE CLIMATE CRISIS IS A LEADERSHIP CRISIS. The science is clear: to have any hope of a livable future, we must rapidly, radically reshape society this decade.¹ We know the problems. We have the solutions. And yet, far too many leaders, across sectors, continue to focus on short-term profit and prestige. Society at large remains stuck in lukewarm concern and insufficient action, and too many people who care are still standing on the sidelines. THE STATUS QUO IS NOTWORKING.
To date, conventional climate leadership has centered the voices and ideas of White* men, an imbalance that falls short in both fairness and efficacy.² A preference for facts without feelings, “solutions” without justice, and competition rather than collaboration continues to hold us back from building the biggest, strongest team possible. The good news: Many of today’s most compelling climate leaders, across generations, are women—especially Black, Indigenous, and other women of color. Despite burdens, systemic barriers, and burnout, women are already leading boldly and effectively and throwing open doors to welcome people into climate work. A powerful, transformational climate-feminist ecosystem is emerging. But it's not emerging nearly fast enough—in part because of persistent inequity in climate funding and racism and patriarchy impeding good work. It’s time to wholeheartedly support those who are lighting the way to a just and livable future and to grow feminist climate leadership across all genders and in every corner._

OUR VISION:
BY 2030, WOMEN* LEADING ON CLIMATE WILL HOLD THE POWER TO CREATE TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE AND WILL EXPERIENCE DEEP JOY IN THEIR WORK TO BUILD A JUST AND LIVABLE FUTURE. *OUR USE OF “WOMEN” IS OPEN, EXPANSIVE, AND TRANS-INCLUSIVE.OUR SOLUTIONS
Our core framework of power + joy guides The All We Can Save Project. Our work extends across four focus areas. ------------------------- 🌿 WE UPLIFT TRUTH, COURAGE, AND SOLUTIONS FOR THE CLIMATE CRISIS. Building on the bestselling anthology _All We Can Save_ , we bring head-heart integration, a focus on just solutions, and a “big tent” to mainstream climate communication, thereby advancing anarrative shift.
We curate and collaboratively produce events—from interdisciplinary seminars to poetry readings—and sustain vibrant and nourishing social media feeds. We work to infuse the work and wisdom of women leading on climate into public discourse and culture, sparking #ShineTheory³ across the community. Check out our press to date. → ------------------------- ✨ WE RESOURCE LEADERS TO BUILD COMMUNITY AND SPARK CLIMATE ACTION. With open-source materials for _All We Can Save_ reading circles, we foster deep dialogue, connection, trust, and exploration among small groups. Using the anthology’s collective wisdom as a jumping off point, circles can nurture #ClimateSquads for sustained learning, support, and action. Start a circle → When it becomes safe to do so, we will shape and support gatherings that strengthen the ecosystem of women leading on climate, seeding relationships and collaborations. ------------------------- 🌱 WE NURTURE EMERGENT CLIMATE FEMINISTS — OF ALL AGES ANDGENDERS.
We embed climate truth, courage, and just solutions in education (within and beyond the classroom and across life stages) via open-source curricular resources and partnerships with educational institutions and programs. Beginning in fall 2021, we will convene a series of virtual/communal mentoring and ask-me-anything sessions to foster inter-generational exchanges of wisdom, experience, and energy, and to spotlight and demystify diverse ways to work on climate solutions. Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop. → ------------------------- 🌳 WE INVEST IN WOMEN LEADING ON CLIMATE TO SUPPORT THEIR TRANSFORMATIONAL WORK. Stay tuned for more on this work.SUPPORT OUR WORK
