For six months, Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on Arcola Theatre and the whole of the arts ecology. We’ve got a plan to ensure Arcola survives: Create Arcola Outside, our new outdoor artistic hub and community space. Written by two-time Olivier Award winner Terry Johnson, this hilarious and bittersweet comedy receives its first London revival in over 20 years, directed by David Mercatali ( Cargo) who was nominated for the 2011 Evening Standard Outstanding Newcomer Award. Albert Einstein and Marilyn Monroe grapple with fame, relativity and their personal PAY WHAT YOU CAN TUESDAYS Pay What You Can Tuesdays. Arcola reserves a limited number of ‘Pay What You Can’ tickets for performances on Tuesday evenings. The average ticket spend is £5, but there are no restrictions either way; you simply pay what you can.
