STRETCHED – ARLINGTON ARTS CENTER Stretched presents an expanded perspective on contemporary painting, featuring nine artists whose work is rooted in but transcends the medium. Ranging from work on canvas to large-scale installation, the exhibition emphasizes the expansive and multi-faceted approach taken by contemporary artists who work with paint as part of their practice.APPLY FOR RESIDENCY
AAC’s long-term Resident Artist studios are leased in two-year intervals, which can be renewed up to two times, resulting in a total potential residency term of six years. Leases will be considered for renewal based on artist studio usage, commitment to monthly service hours, participation in open studios, and broader community outreach. SUMMER CAMPS: AGES 5-7 Camps are one week, Monday-Friday, June 21-August 27. For campers ages 5-7 and 8-10, we will be offering one morning and one afternoon session each week. Of these two sessions, one will take place online and one in-person. We will also offer both in-person and online options for ages 11-14 and 14-18 throughout the summer in theafternoons.
