Q: Are there suggestions for ways to be more inclusive of employees working from home? Basically, how do we facilitate "water cooler" conversations? A: The feeling of isolation that can occur when employees work at home can be difficult for some people. JAN has facilitated “water cooler” moments by having bi-monthly virtual coffee breaks. For example, JAN staff have discussed everything from must-watch TV shows and movies to pet-related topics and favorite holiday traditions and recipes, to name a few.
