BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR MUSIC THERAPY :: TRAINING In order to practise as a Music Therapist in the UK, it is mandatory to complete a MA training course validated by the HCPC and obtain state registration with the HCPC. You have to attend the training courses in person to obtain the qualification. There are no online/distance learning Music Therapy courses which gives you thisqualification.

THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR MUSIC THERAPY (BAMT) IS THE PROFESSIONAL BODY FOR MUSIC THERAPY IN THE UK, PROVIDING BOTH PRACTITIONERS AND NON-PRACTITIONERS WITH INFORMATION, PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT, AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES. IT IS ALSO A CHARITY COMMITTED TO PROMOTING AND RAISING AWARENESS OF MUSIC THERAPY, AND PROVIDING INFORMATION TO THE GENERALPUBLIC.
