Throughout the year, BARCC hosts a variety of events: trainings to help prevent sexual violence, counseling groups and survivor workshops, and gatherings that bring together survivors and supporters to increase awareness of BARCC, raise vital support for our programs and services, and honor leaders in the movement to end sexualviolence.

BOARD ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FROM The Board of Directors of the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) announces today that the agency’s long-time Executive Director, Gina Scaramella, is retiring from BARCC on GROUP COUNSELING AND WORKSHOPS BARCC offers group counseling and workshops for survivors and people who are close to them. All groups and workshops are free. If you are interested in submitting a request for group counseling, you may fill out a request online or call the office at 617-492-8306..
