NEUROLOGICAL OUTCOME IN PATIENTS AFTER SUCCESSFUL Kaplan–Meier survival curves in patients with ischemic brain injury and good neurological outcome after OHCA. Background. The incidence of out-of–hospital-cardiac-arrest (OHCA) in Europe is in average 84 cases/100.000 population /year with achieved return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) in 9% – 50% of resuscitation attempt and survival to discharge of admitted patients in 6.4% – 66.9%. A PROMISING BIOMARKER FOR NEONATAL SEPSIS A receiver operating characteristic curve was established to evaluate the diagnostic value of miR-129-5p for neonatal sepsis. Neonatal sepsis (NS) occurs in neonates within 28 days of birth, and the current diagnostic biomarkers are unsatisfactory as a result of their poor specificity.
