"Bow Arts incubated my new business and was there for me when the chips were up as well as down, Bow Arts provided a vital platform for me and I have gone from grassroots to turning a healthy profit, even a nomination for Architectural CANADA STREET STUDIOS Located just 2 minutes’ walk from Canada Water Station (Overground and Jubilee Line), Bow Arts have opened a new meanwhile studio site that will become home to 30 artists, designers, and makers. With a large courtyard space, there will also be regular creative markets giving studio holders and local makers the chance to sell work and engage with the community. The 24/7 access studios benefit IS THERE SPACE FOR EMPATHY? The Nunnery Gallery is proud to present the first UK solo exhibition by the Finnish artist Enni-Kukka Tuomala. Tuomala has a vision to transform empathy from an individual feeling to a collective and radical power. We are able to offer a limited number of week-long work experience placements to students who are studying Art at one of our partner schools. A particular interest in visual arts is preferable to make the most out of this work experience. With a large courtyard space, there will also be regular creative markets giving studio holders and local makers the chance to sell work and engage with the community. The 24/7 access studios benefit BOW ROAD SUMMER MAKERS MARKET Join us this July for our Bow Road Summer Makers Market. We’ll be celebrating east London’s local makers in our vibrant outdoor courtyard, with a selection of locally made gifts and artworks for sale by Bow Arts’ artists. OSMANI PRIMARY – ARTIST IN RESIDENCE 2019-20 Learning / 29th September 2020 Bow Arts worked with every class at Osmani Primary in the 2019/20 academic year to provide practical art sessions as part of the school’s PPA cover.
