The Fit2Fit RPE Fit Test Providers Accreditation Scheme is designed to confirm the competency of any person performing facepiece fit testing. It is a legal requirement that workers using tight fitting respiratory protective equipment (face pieces/masks) must be fit tested by a competent person. This requirement is detailed in CoSHH regulations. CE CERTIFICATION AND DECLARATIONS OF CONFORMITY CE Certification and Declarations of Conformity. Over the past 2 weeks we have received a number of enquiries relating to CE Certification and Declarations of Conformity – specifically for Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) to be bought into the UK for supply to key healthcare workers. The ‘Certificate’ shown is one of many we have WHAT CONSTITUTES AN ECONOMIC OPERATOR What Constitutes an Economic Operator. the UK Economic operators in the UK market supplying PPE must comply with the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Economic Operators are defined in the Regulation Article 3 (8) as meaning the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer and the distributor (of PPE).
