WHO WE ARE - CARE CLIMATE CHANGE Who We Are. CARE’s Climate Change and Resilience Platform (CCRP) leads and coordinates the integration of climate change and resilience across CARE’s development and humanitarian work. The CCRP aims to support and strengthen the ability of CARE to increase resilience and to tackle the causes and consequences of climate change. HOLLOW COMMITMENTS: AN ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPED COUNTRIES CARE analyzed the most recent official finance plans that developed countries submitted under the Paris Agreement and found that despite vocal pledges of support for vulnerable countries from the G7 and other wealthy nations, the actual information submitted by all 24 assessed donors falls well short of what was requested and is nowhere near a roadmap that ensures rich countries deliver on REPORT CARD: WHERE IS GENDER EQUALITY IN NATIONAL CLIMATE The Paris Agreement on Climate Change requires countries to submit new or updated national climate action plans, the so-called Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) every five years. This report analyses the most recent NDCs (as of 16 November 2020) in regards to their gender performance.
