Place the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil into a frying pan and place on a medium-high heat. Add the Cauldron sausages, red onion and rosemary and fry for 5 minutes, until golden. How to Deep-Fry Tofu. Pour a thick layer of oil in a deep frying pan or a wok. Roll your tofu pieces in flour, sesame seeds, bread crumbs or coating of your choice.
