CHANGING LIVES
Changing Lives is a national charity based in the North East that has been supporting vulnerable people for over 45 years. We help over 17,500 people change their lives for the better each year by supporting people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, addictions, long-term unemployment and more.MANAGEMENT TEAM

The project is a 24 hour supported accommodation/dispersed service based in Middlesbrough. We support young people aged 16-25 to flourish and to work to overcome the interconnected problems thatDRUG & ALCOHOL
Drug & Alcohol Services. Dependence on drugs or alcohol is often a result of difficult life experiences. Across the North East and Yorkshire, we are on hand to help people take their first steps towards abstinence and support their ongoing recovery. CHANGING LIVES TO DELIVER SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING Changing Lives has been appointed by Halton Borough Council to deliver support for people experiencing homelessness in the region. Management Team The Changing Lives executive team makes sure our strategic ambitions align with the day-to-day operations of Changing Lives. Our team includes a wide range of skills gathered from the adult social care field and beyond, as well as expertise from across all three sectors –WOMEN & CHILDREN

This includes those who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual exploitation or have contact with the criminal justice system. SE322 – SESSIONAL WORKERS About you We are recruiting temporary, hourly paid sessional workers, available for a variety of shifts as and when required to work in Erimus house, Middlesbrough. The project is a 24 hour supported accommodation/dispersed service based in Middlesbrough. Drug & Alcohol Services. Dependence on drugs or alcohol is often a result of difficult life experiences. Across the North East and Yorkshire, we are on hand to help people take their first steps towards abstinence and support their ongoing recovery. GARDENING AND MAINTENANCE VOLUNTEER Role Description Volunteer’s role will allow us to expand our holistic approach to the residents’ wellbeing. It is also to provide support around gardening, repairs and maintenance Key responsibilities Basic decorating Minor repairs (assembling flat pack furniture, hanging pictures, filling small holes etc.) Fixing furniture Help to organise and run gardening activities with residents IMPROVING HOUSING SUPPORT FOR ADULT SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL Improving housing support for adult survivors of sexual exploitation. Today (14 th July 2020) we, along with our partners on the STAGE Project are meeting with a group of MPs and decision-makers to discuss the links between housing and homelessness, Covid-19 and sexual exploitation. This influential group is chaired by Jess Phillips MP,Shadow
