THE COOKING BRIDE
Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato Wedge Salad with Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dressing. May 17, 2021. Cool off with a delicious bacon and tomato wedge salad topped with creamy buttermilk blue cheese dressing, crispy bacon, and tomatoes. The Husband and I so rarely get to enjoy a fine dining restaurant. When we do, I rarely order a salad. HOMEMADE PEACH PRESERVES Place peach slices in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until peaches reach your desired consistency (depends on if you like big chunks or little chunks of peaches in your jam). Combine mixture with lemon juice, water, and pectin in a large medium saucepan. Bring mixture to a hard rolling boil. Stir in sugar. YELLOW SQUASH CASSEROLE Place the squash mixture in one large 9 x 12 x 2-inch casserole dish or two 8 x 8 x 2-inch casserole dishes. At this point, the squash can be covered with aluminum foil and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours or frozen. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle theHOMEMADE PLUM JELLY
Bring the pot to a boil, then cover and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain the juice by pouring through a fine mesh strainer or line a colander with several layers of cheesecloth. Allow the fruit to drain for about 30 minutes. Discard the fruit. You should have about 5 cups of plum juice. STRAWBERRY BLUEBERRY SAUCE Instructions. Puree berries in a blender or food processor. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. This should produce 1 ½ - 2 cups of berry juice. Pour berry juice in a small saucepan. Combine sugar, lemon juice, and salt and stir into berry juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for four minutes. Remove from heat. CRAWFISH FETTUCCINE ALFREDO Instructions. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. In the meantime, melt butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add cream, 1/3 cup at a time. Alternate with flour, whisking in flour one tablespoon at a time. Whisk until flour is incorporated and themixture is

Add 1 cup of the shredded cheese and the entire ham mixture. Stir to combine. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch casserole dish. 5 TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST FLAKY HOMEMADE PIE CRUST FROM Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, just until the dough holds together if squeezed in the palm of your hand. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into two equal parts. Form dough into two round disks. Wrap each disk in plastic wrap. Place dough in HIBACHI STEAK AND VEGETABLES Remove meat from pan and set aside. Reduce heat to medium. Add carrot, zucchini, and squash to pan. Season with salt and pepper. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook until vegetables are crisp-tender, about five minutes. Whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger andcornstarch.
