HOW TO MAKE HUGE, AWESOME ANGEL WINGS! This is a project that my sister, Holly, made this year. I think these wings are incredible! PAINTING YOUR OLD UMBRELLA I purchased an umbrella off Craigslist about four years ago. It was “ok” when I bought it. Not totally new, but decent. TORCHED DIY RUSTIC WOOD COUNTER TOP FOR UNDER $50 BY My husband and I purchased a late 1960’s home about a year ago. Little did I know that in less than a year we’d be building (and torching) a DIY Wood Counter in our dining room.. As the year mark was approaching, we’d made a lot of progress updating our home but hadn’t gotten to the dining room “built-in” yet; which was a dead giveaway of how old the house is (and not in a good way). DIY RUSTIC WINDOW VALANCES BY CREATIVELY LIVING BLOG The wood balanced out my rustic built in shelves on the other side of the kitchen (tutorial to come). .and this is probably why they ended up looking better than the patterned ones I had originally planned on. These took about 30 minutes to make per valance. They were quick andeasy and under $7

DIY HAIRPIN LEG WOODEN BENCH DIY Hairpin Leg Wooden Bench. I’ve been in love the the hairpin leg tables and benches lately. WOOD FLOORS…THE EBONY JACOBEAN MIX So, after stripping paint, sanding with 36, 80, 150, and 220 grit sandpaper, then applying wood conditioner, I stained the first coat of stain with the Jacobean/Ebony mixture. I used straight pins to pin the moss to the foam. I also tore some of the leftover moss, stretched it out and pinned it on the wreath to get a “bushier” moss look (if there is such a thing). That’s it!X
