AWT Operators (AWTO®) protect public health by ensuring a supply of safe and high-quality drinking water from advanced water reuse facilities. AWTOs understand advanced processes and the impact of feed water quality on production and finished water quality. They operate, monitor, and maintain APPLY | CALIFORNIA WATER ENVIRONMENT ASSOCIATION Candidates must submit an application and be approved before they can schedule an exam. Applications can be faxed, emailed or mailed to the CWEA office at any time throughout the year. Applications are reviewed by CWEA TCP Staff/Subject Matter Experts.
