D&T EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2021 D&T Excellence Awards 2021. Nominations have closed and shortlisting will commence! This prestigious awards ceremony will be held at The Institution of Engineering and Technology, London, 2 Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL on Friday 17th September 2021 hosted by the D&T Association and The Institution of Engineering and Technology. SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS Special Educational Needs. According to OFSTED, pupils with special educational needs make better progress in D&T than in most other subjects. This is because designing and making usable products gives pupils a real sense of achievement. They benefit from experiencing their own progress and taking responsibility for their own learning. PROJECTS ON A PAGE SAMPLE Projects on a Page – Instant CPD. The basis for this scheme of work is a series of 21 A3 size ‘project planners’ that give scope for teachers to use their creativity and professional judgment, whilst ensuring the quality, integrity and rigour of children’s learning. Each planner is accompanied by useful sketches and diagrams in a USING CRUMBLE FOR BEGINNERS Using crumble for beginners.
