2021 SER Conference – VirtualJune 22 – 25, 2021. The 2021 Conference will be held in a virtual format. We look forward to being able to be in person for #SER2022 in Chicago. In the meantime, stay healthy and safe and join us online for #SER2021! ABOVE AND BEYOND CORONAVIRUS DISTINCTION Dr. Li Wenliang. It was a courageous and crucial “act” at the very start of the pandemic that Dr. Wenliang shared publicly the unusual happenings he witnessed in his patients. It is tragic, that he initially was punished by the legal authorities for speaking up and that he fell sick and died, at the age of 33, of the very direct WORKSHOP – SOCIETY FOR EPIDEMIOLOGIC RESEARCH This workshop will introduce participants to the R statistical computing platform for use in epidemiologic analysis. It is not intended to transform untested novices into R wizards in a mere half-day; rather, the goal will be to introduce the conceptual underpinnings, tools, and external resources that participants will need to overcome barriers to using R that they might encounter ontheir
