Program overview. The Events Industry Council has certified more than 11,000 meeting professionals since the inception of the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) programme and each year, that number grows. To apply for or recertify for the CMP designation, these professionals must participate in at least 25 hours of continuing education EIC AND MEMBER WEBINARS EIC and member webinars. Please note that some webinars are open only to members of the sponsoring organisation. MEETING AND EVENT DESIGN GUIDE Meeting and Event Design Accepted Practices Guide. In July 2020, EIC released the Meeting and Event Design Accepted Practices Guide. This guide was last updated on 24 August 2020. It is intended to serve as a resource and educational tool for industry professionals to utilise as they put the aggregated resources and materials into practice. EVENTS INDUSTRY COUNCIL > CMP > FUTURE CMPS > ELIGIBILITY Effective 1 January 2016, continuing education requirements for the CMP exam have been modified. STUDYING FOR THE EXAM Studying for the Exam. The CMP exam evaluates the skills and knowledge of meeting professionals, which is why experience is an eligibility requirement. There is no manual or course that will teach you how to pass the CMP exam, but there are a number of options to help youprepare.

EIC'S APEX COVID-19 BUSINESS RECOVERY TASK FORCE RESOURCES The Events Industry Council's APEX COVID-19 Business Recovery Task Force Guidance has released several guidance resources for the events industry. The resources are presented in a "guide" format that serve as a resource and educational tool for industry professionals to utilise as they put the aggregated resources and materials into practice. Program overview. The Events Industry Council has certified more than 11,000 meeting professionals since the inception of the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) programme and each year, that number grows. To apply for or recertify for the CMP designation, these professionals must participate in at least 25 hours of continuing education MEETING AND EVENT DESIGN GUIDE Meeting and Event Design Accepted Practices Guide. In July 2020, EIC released the Meeting and Event Design Accepted Practices Guide. This guide was last updated on 24 August 2020. It is intended to serve as a resource and educational tool for industry professionals to utilise as they put the aggregated resources and materials into practice. EVENTS INDUSTRY COUNCIL > SUSTAINABILITY > SEPC The Sustainable Event Professional Certificate is eligible for 12 hours of Continuing Education credits (CEs) towards initial CMP examination eligibility or recertification. EIC is also an approved provider of CAE continuing education and this programme offers 12 CAE credits. This programme is open to all event professionals (CMPs andnon-CMPs
STUDYING FOR THE EXAM Studying for the Exam. The CMP exam evaluates the skills and knowledge of meeting professionals, which is why experience is an eligibility requirement. There is no manual or course that will teach you how to pass the CMP exam, but there are a number of options to help youprepare.
