The UNDERSTANDING MINDFULNESS: STEP 2--THE MINDFUL EXPERIENCE The second step involves learning how to be mindful in the face of unpleasantness, discomfort, and even crisis. I find this step even more difficult to explain when people haven't ever had the experience of mindfulness during an unpleasant event. However, many people may have experienced this aspect of mindfulness naturally. SUNRISE ON THE BEACH MINDFULNESS AUDIO DOWNLOAD Sunrise On the Beach Mindfulness. Audio relaxation exercise focused on teaching the three main methods of relaxation which include slow, relaxed breathing, muscle relaxation, and guided imagery. The imagery describes floating relaxing on a beach at night and experiencing the sunrise. Mindfulness relaxation focuses on fully experiencing the CBT TRAINING EXAMPLES: HOPELESSNESS DUE TO DEPRESSION The following is an example to help learn how to identify and change irrational thinking. It is best to read the articles defining the irrational styles of thinking prior to trying to identifying the styles in the example.
