Place chia seeds in a small personal blender cup and pulse/blend until a fine flour forms. Usually in just a few seconds. 5 DELECTABLE USES FOR THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING Warning it requires two hands. And still has less calories than it’s omnivore counterpart. A soul satisfying kale and radish salad. It’s crispy, hydrating, and flavorful. Bite size fancy sounding appetizers made using a bright crunchy cucumber, hollowing it out slightly and filling it with thousand island dressing. Recipes are linked below. Well, last night I was making a recipe that called for 2 peppers and I decided instead to use 8-10 mini peppers, as that’s what we had on hand. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or liner. Trim ends of sweet potatoes and poke a few holes in each one with a knife or fork. Arrange on the tray. Bake for 70 minutes (1 hour and 10 minutes), turning them over half-way through baking time (if you remember). Allow to cool and ENJOY! HOW TO CLEAN DEHYDRATOR SCREENS AND TRAYS Use a good scrubbing brush, I find it knocks everything off and does a way better job than a dish rag. Rolling up the mesh screens to rinse seems to work the best for getting the soap suds off – quick like. I sometimes – ok usually – use the vacuum to get the crumbs out of the dehydrator instead of wiping them up. Vacuum = Super Easy. A GREEN BUCKWHEAT SMOOTHIE Ingredients. 2 mangos, pit and skin removed 3/4 cup frozen pineapple, chopped 1 cored apple, chopped 1 - 2 cups parsley 2 stalks of celery 1/2 cup buckwheat sprouts HOW TO MAKE TAMARIND PASTE AND USING THE SEEDS For now, just remove the seeds and set them aside. Reattach them to the dryer barrel using the same one hand in, one hand out method. Feel free to vacuum around the outer side of the barrel, there’s probably a decent amount of dust. Place the lid back on top and reattach the screws. Push the dryer back and plug the electric cord back in. HOW TO REPLACE AN EXCALIBUR DEHYDRATOR TIMER Step 1: The new timer has 2 wires on it; one with a ring and the other with a hook end. Step 2: Attach the ring end to the 2nd screw furthest away from the thermostat in the middle of your dehydrator.
