It provides rates relief to help owners of non-domestic properties, including businesses, deal with the impact of coronavirus. You will need to go to your local authority's website to fill out a Small Business Bonus Scheme Application Form. SELF-EMPLOYMENT INCOME SUPPORT SCHEME Applications have now closed for the fourth grant. Guidance on the fifth grant will be available by the end of June 2021. If you're a self-employed individual or a member of a partnership and have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, you can apply for a taxable grant through the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme(SEISS).
NEWLY SELF-EMPLOYED HARDSHIP FUND This grant scheme is designed to help alleviate financial hardship for newly self-employed people who meet the eligibility criteria set out below. The funding is being provided by the Scottish Government. The scheme offers a one-off £4,000 payment for those whose status as being newly self-employed makes them ineligible for the UK Government BUSINESS RATES RELIEF Retail, hospitality and leisure businesses will get 100% rates relief. This will be extended for at least three months beyond the original end date of 31 March 2021. To get this relief, a property has to be occupied. This will support residential outdoor education centres to manage financial losses until June 2021, the end of the academic year in Scotland. This fund can support: essential non-staff running costs. staff costs integral to the continued operation of the centre as long as these costs cannot be met by other income streams. BUSINESS LOANS SCOTLAND The Scottish Growth Scheme is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund, backed by the Scottish Government, and aims to help businesses grow. This funding includes Business Loans Scotland which is a consortium of Scotland’s Local Authorities providing loans from £25,000 to £100,000 (and in exceptional circumstances up to £ TAXI AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE DRIVER AND OPERATOR SUPPORT FUND Taxi and private hire drivers. If you are a licensed taxi or private hire driver experiencing financial challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and who previously received a one-off grant of £1,500, you may now be eligible for a second grant payment. SMART SCOTLAND GRANT The SMART:SCOTLAND grant is a research and development (R&D) grant offered by Scottish Enterprise to support high-risk, highly ambitious projects. It provides funding to support feasibility studies that help to show your idea could work in the real world. Your project will need to generate intellectual property (IP) that your business will own. EMPLOY AND TRAIN A YOUNG PERSON Employ a young person for 6 months to a year through Pathway Apprenticeships to get early access to young talent and develop skills in your business. Apprenticeships are a proven way for employers to develop talent and gain real business benefits. They can provide you with the skills you need to adapt, sustain and strengthen yourbusiness.

The Fair Work Employer Support Tool has been designed to help employers create new and improved workplace practices. It uses a series of questions and statements to help employers assess and benchmark their workplace practices against the 5 Dimensions of Fair Work (effective voice, security, opportunity, fulfilment, andrespect).
LOCAL AUTHORITY DISCRETIONARY FUND A £120 million fund will be distributed by local authorities (local councils) across Scotland. It will help with the short-term financial challenges being experienced by businesses.
