The Report ‘Procuring well-being in Wales’ was published on February 25 th 2021, explaining key findings, highlighting good practice and outlining recommendations based on the Section 20 Review. MAJORITY IN WALES SUPPORT A BASIC INCOME TRIAL The poll, carried out by Survation, found that 69% of people in Wales would support the Welsh Government piloting a basic income scheme, which has been described as ‘this generation’s NHS’.. As well as individual public bodies subject to the Act, t he Commissioner provides advice to the Public Services Boards, which is intended to be helpful as well as challenging. In 2016/2017, the Commissioner provided individual advice to each PSB on MARIE BROUSSEAU-NAVARRO Marie Brousseau-Navarro. Director of Policy, Legislation and Innovation. Marie is ‘adopted Welsh’ originally from France. She is our Director for Policy, Legislation and Innovation. She is a specialist in public law, the law of devolution, parliamentary procedures and now of the Well-Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act. And she loves it. THE SCHARMER U THEORY AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF WELSH The late and pioneering Arfon Rhys is to be thanked for introducing me to the Scharmer U Theory in 2007. Broadly speaking, this theory of ‘change’ states that individuals, who are responsible for introducing change, must take a number of mental and preparatory steps before they are in a position to implement new strategy to its fullpotential.
