Galway Bay Brewery started life when friends Jason and Niall got fed up of the beer scene in Ireland and decided to do something about it In 2009 they opened one of Ireland's only brew pubs, The Oslo Bar in Salthill, Galway, a seaside town on the West Coast of Ireland. ALTHEA | PROUDLY BREWED BY GALWAY BAY BREWERY Althea. Althea is a 4.8% modern American Pale Ale. Unlike many pales, Althea is low on bitterness, yet massively hoppy on the aroma. Named after one of our head brewer’s favourite Grateful Dead songs; Althea is a beer that can be enjoyed by the pint or by the glass! FULL SAIL | PROUDLY BREWED BY GALWAY BAY BREWERY Full Sail. The simple malt bill gives an ABV of 5.8% which carries the flavour and really allows the hops to shine through. The hops used are of American origin, Colombus, El Dorado and Cascade (45 IBU).
