Marie is so approachable and my students connected with her on a very personal level. Marie's Dictionary opened up my students' eyes to how fundamental language is to preserving or destroying cultures. My students wrote hand-written letters to Marie which were filled withORLAND BISHOP

Across the United States, low-income, urban neighborhoods are being redeveloped to benefit middle-class and upper-class housing, business, and cultural interests. The results can be seen as "positive" with updated buildings, improved transportation, reduced crime, more robust economies, and new parks and other amenities. He is the Executive Director of Holy Land Trust (HLT), a Palestinian non-profit organization, which he founded in 1998 in Bethlehem.
