GYC SUPPORTS SUMMER WORK ON THE CARIBOU TARGHEE NATIONAL GYC is supporting the Caribou Targhee National Forest with funds for on-the-ground work to improve wildlife habitat and fisheries. CODY LANDFILL FENCE KEEPS BEARS OUT OF TRASH The Park County Regional Landfill is located just outside of Cody, Wyoming – which is certainly bear country. Bears started clueing in to the Cody landfill around 2010, and they’ve been visiting more frequently in recent years to get not only at the garbage, but also at the animal carcasses that are buried every day in the landfill’sdead-animal pit.
