In the late 70's, after completing Bicentennial Garden, Greensboro Beautiful was searching for another area to serve the community and attract visitors to Greensboro. GREENSBORO BEAUTIFUL Greensboro Beautiful engages individuals to take responsibility for improving our community's environment. Hundreds of volunteers come together throughout the year to get litter out of our streams, off our streets, and out of our neighborhoods. In the late 70's, after completing Bicentennial Garden, Greensboro Beautiful was searching for another area to serve the community and attract visitors to Greensboro. TANGER FAMILY BICENTENNIAL GARDEN 1105 Hobbs Road . Known for its massive annual plantings and bronze sculpture, this 7.5-acre garden is a popular and relaxing retreat. A Wedding Gazebo adds an air of elegance, a man-made re-circulating stream provides texture, movement and sound, and a Sensory Garden engages visitors in an interactive landscape experience.
