Students learn to make their own herbal preparations, including tisanes and tinctures, to apply the knowledge they learn about the plants through a DVD, book and herbmaterials.

Yarrow is a flowering perennial, common in North America but also native to Europe and Asia. MATERIA MEDICA: PINE There are over 60 species of Pine growing in North America, and the needles of all can be used medicinally. In Florida, some of my favorite pine to work with are Longleaf Pine – Pinus palustris – and Loblolly Pine – Pinus taeda.
