We're located in the heart of New England in Worcester, Massachusetts, only 38 miles from Boston. As the second largest city in Massachusetts, Worcester offers countless cultural, recreational and professional opportunities. Most importantly, you'll find Holy Cross to be the ideal setting for exploring your passions and for discovering what makes you feel most alive. Before we get started, let me explain the many ways you can explore our beautiful space. -You can click on the forward facing arrow to start walking around. -You can jump to the next stop by clicking on the "Next" button. -Now, if you already know where you want to go, you can select any location by using the list OR by clicking directly on the map. -Lastly, remember that you can explore any particular location in more detail by clicking the supplemental icons.*
FENWICK PORCH
Holy Cross was founded in 1843 by Bishop Fenwick, for whom this building is named. While much has changed — at Holy Cross and in the world — the College is still committed to the same highly personalized, meaningful education that Bishop Fenwick imagined for this special place. A liberal arts education provides an excellent foundation for a meaningful career in nearly any field or industry and preparation for the challenges and opportunities that you will encounter in your personal and professional lives — whether you already know what subject you'd like to study or not.*
KIMBALL QUAD
The memories you'll form at Holy Cross will be influenced by our tight-knit community, which many students characterize as a family. Whether it's waiting in line for the ever-popular chicken parm night with floormates, finding yourself in the middle of an impromptu snowball fight between classes, or enjoying the sunshine and a game of cornhole with friends in the spring or fall, Kimball Quad will serve as the backdrop of many of these memories. You will even catch a student band performing here on weekends.*
KIMBALL - MAIN DINING HALL With an all-you-care-to-eat servery, food options at Kimball Main Dining Hall include brick oven pizza, a super-food-inspired station, salad bar and dessert (made daily in the campus bakery). This beautiful and historic hall is also the best place to meet and relax with friends. Recently renovated, it was named number 5 on Bon Appetit Magazine's ranking of "Healthiest College Dining Halls in the Country." Other options on campus include: Crossroads, with Chop and Top salads, sandwiches and daily lunch specials; and D'Agostino's Cafe, featuring favorites like bagel breakfast sandwiches and handcrafted soups. Personally, I'm always at one of the coffee shopsaround campus!

ST. JOSEPH’S CHAPEL Men and women for and with others is a phrase you'll hear often on our campus. Holy Cross is a place of spirit and action, characteristics of the Jesuit tradition. Jesuit spirituality is firmly grounded in the world by its concern with service to others, social justice and open inquiry. Our most popular student organization, SPUD, is a collection of opportunities to volunteer in Worcester and other neighboring communities; and, each year hundreds of students participate in our Spring Break Immersion program, spending the week in towns in the Appalachian and other regions. However you choose to deepen your own spirituality, you'll find abundant opportunities and resources here.*
BROOKS CONCERT HALL
From the theater stage to the concert hall to the art studio, there are many ways to get involved with the arts on campus. This concert hall, for example, plays host to performances by students, faculty and visiting artists, as well as multimedia presentations and final shows for courses in Balinese Gamelan music and dance. Whether you audition for the fall drama, sing in an a capella group or major in visual arts, expressing your creativity in any medium will stretch and develop your skills in innovation and influence your success in anycareer field.

EASY STREET
They say that Worcester is the city of seven hills. Holy Cross sits atop one of them, and is the reason for all the stairs on campus — not to mention the scenic views of Worcester. However, Easy Street where we're standing now, is the flattest stretch of campus. It connects the main residence halls of upper campus, and acts as a common hallway. In nice weather, you'll find students relaxing outdoors, studying in the common spaces between buildings, or tossing a ball around, while more wintery weather invites sledding down the hills. Easy Street also hosts many of our traditional student events, like the annual Spring Weekend Easy Street Fair.*
RESIDENCE HALLS
Your residence hall will be your home away from home. At Holy Cross, all first-year students live on campus and participate in our unique Montserrat living/learning program. More than 90 percent of our students live on campus, which means that the residence halls are central to the lives of students. Each of our 11 coed residence halls features comfortable, fully networked spaces. Student resident assistants develop a culture of belonging through various activities, such as field trips to Boston and outdoor barbecues.*
LUTH ATHLETIC COMPLEX Athletics at Holy Cross offer something for everyone, whether it is competing as a varsity student-athlete, cheering on fellow Crusaders, or participating in one of the many club and intramural sports at a competitive or instructional level. Holy Cross competes in 27 NCAA Division 1 sports, and maintains a renowned athletics tradition while upholding high academic standards. The main home for Athletics is the state-of-the-art Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex, which opened in 2018 and features a 64,000 square foot indoor practice facility in addition to newly renovated basketball and hockey arenas.*
HOGAN CAMPUS CENTER
From a coffee shop and convenience store to a post office and hair salon, Hogan offers many of the services essential to college life. The bottom floor houses a game room, lounge area, grill and pub. The ballroom is the location for many large College events, and the many additional spaces serve as sites for meetings and smaller programs. The College's Center for Career Development, located in Hogan, offers career counseling, help with resume writing and interviewing, access to hundreds of internship opportunities and a robust on-campus recruiting program. Thousands of alumni are ready to help jumpstart your post-graduate endeavors through the Career Advisor Network, also managed by this Center.*
HOGAN COURTYARD / HOVAL The oval-shaped Hogan Courtyard is a crossroads of campus activity. From food-truck Fridays to an impromptu wiffle ball game, the Hoval, as it's affectionately known, is a popular spot for outdoor gatherings and campus events. Holy Cross students belong to more than 100 student organizations, and students representing these groups are often in this space hosting activities. Whether you are interested in community service, politics, business, the arts, sports, multicultural programming, journalism or peer education, you are sure to find a group that is right for you. These groups, along with the Student Government Association and the Student Involvement Office, also provide students with a wide variety of leadership opportunities.*
DINAND LIBRARY
One of the most inspiring buildings on campus, Dinand Library is the main library on campus. It houses a vast collection of books, journals and media as well as the College archives and countless e-resources, including individual electronic journals and aggregate databases. Our five libraries offer a wide variety of study spaces across campus, and frequently host workshops and speakers dedicated to topics related to writing and research. Holy Cross libraries also provide many valuable resources for students and faculty through partners such as Educational Technology, the Center for Teaching, the Writer's Workshop and Academic Services and Learning Resources.*
SMITH LABS - ATRIUM
The atrium is the hub of the Integrated Science Complex, which links the biology, chemistry, math and computer science, physics, psychology and sociology and anthropology departments. This integration is reflective of how we learn at Holy Cross — exploring connections and integrating information to find meaningful insights and discoveries that transcend disciplinary lines. In every major we also consider fundamental questions of meaning and value. Often those discussions continue outside the classroom, with faculty and friends.*
SCIENCE LABS - SMITH LABS State-of-the-art labs in the Integrated Science Complex allow students to be fully engaged in the scientific process and to build the knowledge and skills to be effective scientists and researchers. The College has a very active research program, and students regularly conduct research alongside faculty members who are leading researchers in their fields. As a result, Holy Cross undergraduates regularly contribute to scientific publications and travel to professional conferences. Students in the humanities and other disciplines also have opportunities to work with faculty on their research or to pursue guided independent research through the J.D. Power Center for LiberalArts in the World.

JOYCE CONTEMPLATIVE CENTER The Thomas P. Joyce '59 Contemplative Center offers students of all faith traditions and beliefs a place for stillness, reflection and prayer. Many students talk about their participation in retreats as one of the highlights of their Holy Cross experience. Retreat opportunities range from The Spiritual Exercises, a five-day silent retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, to Manresa, a student-led weekend retreat, to Escape retreats for first-year students, athletic team evenings of reflection, retreats for LGBTQ+ students and alumni, and an "Eat, Pray, Study" retreat during finals study period. The Center occupies 52 beautiful acres overlooking the Wachusett Reservoir about 20 minutes from campus.NEWS

STUDYING AT HOLY CROSS When I started my music major, I wasn't as confident of a composer as I am now. I've learned to be able to analyze my own music. It's really revolutionized the way I think. — Matthew Pinder '20 Explore Academic Programs WHAT'S HAPPENING AT HOLY CROSSEVENTS
