COVID: RENTAL ASSISTANCE & EVICTION INFORMATION In February 2021, Pennsylvania passed legislation to create a state-wide Emergency Rental and Utility assistance program. It will help Pennsylvanians at or below 80% AMI directly and indirectly impacted by COVID-19 to pay arrears and provide forward rental and utility assistance up to 12 months. We expect updates on how to applyin March 2021.

Most rental assistance programs, no matter where the funding comes from, are run at the county and local levels and typically by nonprofits that often but not always with government funding.
