The federal government has embraced the value of telehealth during this time, expanding the accessibility of telehealth for Medicare beneficiaries through the CARES Act. On August 3, the White House issued an Executive Order (EO) that aims to extend some of these expanded SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH AND THE AGING POPULATION Social determinants of health (SDOH) are social, economic, and environmental conditions that help older adults maintain their health and well-being. These factors include things such as adequate access to nutritious food, stable employment and income, safe housing, and reliable and affordable transportation. Individuals who struggle with SDOH-related factors are at risk of experiencing poor DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SUPPLIERS SURVEY Randomly-selected DME suppliers will receive an electronic invitation to take the brief web-based survey, or to join a 30-minute telephone interview.
