Camino de Santiago. The Camino de Santiago is a network of pilgrimage paths, all leading to Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain. With roots far back in pre-history, the route was hugely popular in the middle ages, with pilgrims walking to Santiago as an act of Christian devotion. Now, in its renaissance, it is being hiked by a multitude EUROPE | INDIE TRAVEL PODCAST Europe. Europe stretches from Africa and the Atlantic in the west, to the Arctic and Pacific in the east. Diverse and vast, US geography ranges from the Arctic to the tropics, with granite mountains, grass prairies and painted deserts in between. And continental US offers the most geographical extremes; the lowest spot is 282 feet (86 meters TOP 5 NEW ZEALAND BAYS AND BEACHES Dolphins in the Bay of Islands Mission Bay. If you’re looking for a central-city bay, Mission Bay is a winner. Just ten minutes from Auckland‘s central business district, Mission Bay is a great place to spend the day at the beach.
