System Description. System descriptions are available to authorized users that delineate the boundaries of the system and describe relevant system components as well as the purpose and design of the system. InputHealth's security, availability and confidentiality commitments are also communicated to external and internal users viathe system
JOINING A VIRTUAL VISIT (FOR PATIENTS) Entering a virtual visit chat room. Steps: Click the Start Virtual Visit link that was sent to you via email. A new window opens. Enter your secure access code (this is not case sensitive). Enter Last Name (this is not case sensitive). Click LOGIN. A pop up window appears. Click on the specific appointment (it will turn grey when hoveringover it).
ACCESSING THE PATIENT PORTAL USING AN EMAIL/ SMS LINK (FOR Steps. Open the email/ sms notification that you received. From the email, click Read Message (in the case of sms, click on the specific link). A new page opens. Enter the one time password (OTP) you received in the email/ sms notification. Five incorrect attempts. See Accessing the patient portal after passcode expiry. STARTING AN ENCOUNTER 3. Starting an Encounter from Patient's Chart. From the patient's dashboard you can start encounters from the: 'Latest Encounter' widget or Quick Menu, select the '+' icon beside Encounters. Blue Start/Open Dropdown menu, select Encounters PRINTING OR EXPORTING PATIENT CHARTS 2. In the top-right corner, click Patient Chart. 3. From the window that opens showing each section of the chart, select what to include in the PDF: By default, content from the last year is included. To include older content, click the date range and select a new range. To print all content from the patient chart, click Print All. FOR PATIENTS: RECEIVING SMS NOTIFICATIONS Updated over a week ago. SMS/Text notifications can be sent to patients to. confirm appointments, notify them of appointment changes, or. provide appointment reminders or. complete a specific questionnaire.
