FEATHER LIGHT BUTTERY ROLLS One of my favorite magazines of all time, is bake FROM SCRATCH. Oh my heck . . . it’s loaded with the most beautiful, mouth watering pictures. If you can’t find inspiration and endless baking ideas after reading through it, then you must be dead! It certainly inspires me to Get off my butt and BAKE. It’s one of those magazines that you could never ever throw away. It feels like Christmas, when I open the mailbox and it’s arrived in all itsglory.
The only other magazine that makes my heart race a bit is Magnolia. If I had to choose just one though . . . it’s hands down going to be the bake one. These feather light, delicious buttery rolls called myname!

I’m sure others are wondering as well if she noticed. She did not! Lucky me. There was even snickering in the classroom from those few who did see it happen. She had burned many bridges with others, so nobody said a thing. I’m sure when she took out the ponytail, she was . . . “What theheck!”
I’m sure she knew. She never bothered me again! Hope you all had a great Valentines Day.JonnaReply

01/19/2017 - 9:38 pmHi Jonna,
I just came across a recipe page that I saved quite awhile ago. It’s for your peach caramel pie made in a skillet. I was going to ask this question back then, but the page ran off and hide in my computer until I came across it while cleaning stuff out. I really wanted to make this then, but I was afraid of what it would do to my mother’s skillet. It is very old and my prized possession. I use it all the time, but only for frying food and making cornbread. I’ve never put it water. Maybe I should just buy me one to make this sort of thing in. Please advise.ReplyCancel

I don’t know what this costs you, so I get it if it’s just not worth the money. But I will print out several recipes that rank among my all time faves!! No lie! Next, my grandparents had a mountain house in Blowing Rock, NC growing up. My grandfather knew just how to wind his way up Grandfather Mountain and pull off at just the right spot to go huckleberry picking. We wore upside down gallon milk cartons around our necks. I have asked and asked (Dandy is long gone) and no one knows what I mean. If I could find a huckleberry spot again I would be inheaven!!Reply
