What does Just Like Us do? We recruit LGBT+ young people aged 18–25 and partner with prestigious employers to train them to be school role models and LGBT+ workplace leaders. We send our volunteers into schools to champion LGBT+ equality, we support schools to run LGBT+ and ally groups, and we organise a national campaign, School DiversityWeek.

Growing up lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) is unacceptably tough. Nearly 9 in 10 LGBT+ young people hear homophobic remarks and 80% of teachers have no training in LGBT issues. These experiences can have a life-long negative impact on their wellbeing: 25% of LGBT+ young people attempt suicide and 50% self-harm.MY LGBT+ STORY
