BREMERTON, Wash. – Starting later this month anyone who gets vaccinated against COVID -19 through a ROUTED SERVICE UPGRADE On Monday, December 2, Kitsap Transit launched the next phase of bus service upgrades, including the opening of the Wheaton Way Transit Center in East Bremerton!. In conjunction with the transit center’s opening, Routes 15, 19, and 21 will be replaced or absorbed by new or existing Routes 215, 219, 221 and 229, while Routes 223 and 225 willbe realigned.
FUTURE TRANSIT CENTERS The future STC will incorporate a highway access ramp to SR 303/NW Waaga Way and a canopy structure to protect riders from rain. Kitsap Transit plans to finalize the bid specifications in 2020, advertise and award a construction contract in 2021 and complete the project in 2022, assuming no changes in anticipated funding sources.ADMIN DIRECTORY
