Our 2021 Fruit Tree Catalogue is now available and trees are available to order now for send out in July 2021. These are very special NZ Heritage Fruit Trees collected by Koanga over the past 30 plus years. Our trees are grown organically in a way that regenerates the land they were grown in. You can PERENNIAL COLLECTION Perennial Collection. Perennials are fantastic additions to any garden, have many benefits and many are endangered and rare. We have many exciting perennials available in the form of starter packs. Please read the ordering information below. HOW TO GROW GREAT KUMARA Planting out. We then plant the kumara tupu in two rows, one on each side of the mound, at a spacing of about 12 inches along each row. We stagger them so that the tupu on one side are positioned opposite the middle of the space between two on the other side. Kamokamo have always been in the Institute seed collection – we have received kamokamo seed from many people over the years but the line we have kept going was the seed that came to us from near Ruatoria, from the garden of Bill Blane, who said they had come from his koro who had kept them going long before him.
