Lighter Minds is a non-profit association founded in April 2019. We aim to provide safer spaces for mental health sufferers and advocates to join together. Our focus is on uniting people across the spectrum of conditions and symptoms, regardless of diagnoses. We tackle common struggles such as stress, anger, anxiety and depression.MINDFULNESS

Our focus is on uniting people across the spectrum of conditions and symptoms, regardless of diagnoses. We tackle common struggles such as stress, anger, anxiety and depression.__
WHAT DOES LIGHTER MINDS DO? Self Help Peer Support Groups RUN BY SUFFERERS FOR SUFFERERS which promotes the use of creative writing and expressive arts for therapeutic purposes.__
WHO CAN ATTEND THE SUPPORT GROUPS? Everybody is welcome to join, sufferers and carers, regardless of diagnoses or symptoms. Please contact us for more details on groups in your area or help to set up your own!__

WHY WAS LIGHTER MINDS FOUNDED? Two best friends collaborated to launch regular sessions in their hometown of Milton Keynes. To share their experiences with likeminded people, they created a new platform for peer support in their community. Through raising awareness, funds and access to treatment for mental health they have now expanded the association.CARING FOR YOURSELF
