Community Clinic Sponsored by PetSmart Charities. Launched in 1924, the Louisiana SPCA Community Clinic has grown far beyond our wildest imagination. What originally started off as a very small endeavor, has now grown into an 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art veterinaryclinic.
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
While most types of appointments can be booked online we do not allow online booking for heartworm consultations, skin consultations or owner requested euthanasia. To make an appointment for these services please call us directly at 504.368.5191 or email DOG TRAINING CLASSES To participate in this class, your dog must be friendly to other dogs and non-reactive. Class time: 6 pm. Class size: 6 people. Duration: 4 weeks. Location: Louisiana SPCA’s New Orleans campus. Cost: $115. All classes are currently on hold due to Covid-19. Check back laterfor updates!
INTACT PERMIT
Fees per Dog. Initial application fee: $95. Annual renewal fee: $20. Online processing fee: $5 per pet. Unfortunately, like with any law, there are penalties set by the City of New Orleans for those that do not comply with the Intact Permit. Late fee for permit renewal, per SPAY/NEUTER APPOINTMENT The Louisiana SPCA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are not affiliated with any other SPCA or Humane Society. We operate and raise all funds independently. TNR - LOUISIANA SPCA The most humane and effective way to control feral cat populations is through an internationally recognized program called Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Controlling feral cats’ ability to reproduce decreases the population in your neighborhood and prevents disease from spreading. Because TNR is less expensive than removing and euthanizing feralLOST & FOUND

While we encourage you to bring pets from other parishes to the parish shelter where you found them, we will never turn a pet away.
