YOU CAN NOW BUY THIS THEME I recently released the theme for macwright.com for sale on Ko-fi.Today I’m adding the /photos section to that theme (something I’ve written about before), and giving a little background information.. This site’s brutalist design is the result of about a decade of refinement and tweaking. For specific goals - minimalism, optimization, adaptability, clarity - I think it has achieved a FARM (AND OTHER F WORDS) This is exactly the kind of book I want read. It engages with the complexity of farming, economics, people, culture, without gettinglost in them.

I skipped an ‘end of the year’ post in 2019 because the retrospectives and goal-setting I was reading made me feel odd, and I didn’t want to add more of that to the world. It’s a fully hand-illustrated (very) short film that I wrote, narrated, and accompanied. BIG 3 - MACWRIGHT.COM Unfortunately, the workings of the TextNode are not well-known, so this was a common stumbling block in the design. So, in Big v3, background images are specified simply, using data attributes - the same way that time-to-next and bodyclass are specified. ANNIE - MACWRIGHT.COM How has it been almost six months since I posted a photo? I’ve barely taken a photo in six months. I did see my ‘quarantine bubble’ and we did have little dinners in a backyard.MACWRIGHT.COM
JSON Patch’s “operations” are objects, like patch in this example, that you can apply to a document to change it. There’s a lot of exciting potential here. Even if you’re very careful with your Immutable.js or hand-written data transformations, old versions of your data still hanging out in memory.TOM MACWRIGHT
