The Guide features the talented artisans who have exhibited in Venice at Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future and many more, as well as ateliers, manufacturers, museums and experiences. MICHELANGELO FOUNDATION Created in 1987 by Liliane Bettencourt, her husband André Bettencourt and their daughter Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation (Fondation Bettencourt Schueller) aims to contribute to a better French society and boost France's influence on the international stage via three main fields of engagement: life sciences, the arts and inclusive society. MICHELANGELO FOUNDATION An educational initiative developed in partnership with our network, our Summer School Programme funds selected young artisans and designers to take part in intensive short courses staged by members of our network around Europe. In collaboration with applied arts and design schools and universities in our network, we select the MICHELANGELO FOUNDATION Metal in Loulé: Summer School 2021. Take part in a unique metal course in Loulé from 11 to 23 July 2021 and discover ancient metal crafts. The course has been developed in partnership with Câmara Municipal de Loulé, Fundação Ricardo do EspÃrito Santo Silva, and Passa ao Futuro and held at Loulé Criativo. Students will explore the techniques of filigree, casting, metal working ARTS & CRAFTS ASSOCIATION BORNHOLM The Arts & Crafts Association Bornholm (ACAB) was established in 2002 to represent Bornholm’s most skilled professional craftsmen and women. The association celebrates the diversity of its member artisans, whilst promoting high standards of excellence, the importance of collaboration and local cultural heritage with exhibitions and pop-ups.
