The first is an examination the museum’s context within a transitional middle landscape, a condition between the urban and suburban which has neither the traditional identity of the urban center nor of thesuburban landscape.

The Brickyard at Playa Vista offices are the latest addition to an expanding campus of technology and creative media office spaces in the heart of Los Angeles’ Playa Vista community. The new development consists of two buildings containing a total of 425,300 square feet of office space. The distinctive building facades made of thin brick with HERGOTT SHEPARD RESIDENCE The Hergott-Shepard Residence, located on a steeply sloping hillside in Beverly Hills, creates a complex set of paths, interstitial spaces, and views toward the city from a system of juxtaposed masses and voids. The residence is a carefully calculated orthogonal composition, whose complexity is revealed as guests pass from the street entry NAPA VALLEY RESIDENCE On a large parcel overlooking Napa Valley, a new residence creates a diversity of spaces for living while preserving the beauty of the surrounding natural context to create a protected series of experiences that are knitted into the surrounding topography, tree canopy, and landscape of views extending over the valley as it descends to the east.
