ABOUT – ACMS
The ACMS Center is our main office in Ulaanbaatar and is located at the Natsagdorj Ulaanbaatar City Library on Seoul Street, It includes a Research Library collection of almost 5,000 English language books on Mongolia for use by international and Mongolian scholars and has a staff of 6 employees. The ACMS Research Library is the largest collection of international scholarship on Mongolia in INTRODUCING OUR NEW CONTENT CAPTIONING TECHNICIAN! Did you know some of our video content have started to be captioned in both Mongolian and English? Well, we have a lot more coming thanks to our new Content Captioning Technician! As part of our efforts to improve accessibility of research within the Mongolian studies community to a wider audience, we created a new part-time position to deploy and fix the AI subtitling process. MONGOLIA FIELD SCHOOL 2021 The ACMS Online Mongolia Field School includes 7 course offerings spanning from Spring to Fall 2021. The Online Field School is open to all participants, including undergraduate and graduate students, professionals, teachers and life-long learners interested in exploring aspects of Mongolia’s unique culture and geography. THE ONLINE INTENSIVE MONGOLIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM IS The Online Intensive Mongolian Language Program is accepting applications! Francis Woodman Cleaves was a mongolist, sinologist, linguist and historian who taught at Harvard University. The ACMS Center is our main office in Ulaanbaatar and is located at the Natsagdorj Ulaanbaatar City Library on Seoul Street, It includes a Research Library collection of almost 5,000 English language books on Mongolia for use by international and Mongolian scholars and has a staff of 6 employees. The ACMS Research Library is the largest collection of international scholarship on Mongolia in THE ONLINE INTENSIVE MONGOLIAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM IS ACMS invites students, faculty, and other interested persons to participate in an eight-week Online Intensive Mongolian Language Program from June 7 to August 6, 2021.MEMBERSHIP – ACMS
Members are an important part of the governance of the organization. Membership serves two primary purposes in the ACMS. Members have voting rights to elect “At-Large” representatives of the Board of Directors for individual and student members; FELLOWSHIPS AND PROGRAMS The ACMS Field Research Fellowship provides support of up to $4,000 to support short-term student, post-doctoral, or faculty field research in Mongolia in the Summer or Fall. The program is funded by the US State Department Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Council of American Overseas Research Centers.USER DASHBOARD
