Exhale is a collaborative project produced as part of the MPavilion Empty Spaces Summit, led by artists Clare McCracken and Jarra Karalinar Steel, and by: GemmaSeymour.

Quiver is an invitation for audiences to share a gentle psycho-physical exploration of space, moving somewhere between panic and comfort with dancers and musicians from Tony Yap Company. These culturally diverse, independent artists collaborate in a space of spontaneous evolution within structure. Tony Yap Company performances are often inspired by Tao Te Ching by Lao 2021 OSWALD BARNETT ORATION—VICTORIA’S SOCIAL HOUSING BOOM 2020 turned out to be unexpectedly tough, with few opportunities for the housing sector to come together. But it also saw the Victorian Government commit unprecedented levels of funding and support to increase social and affordable housing supply across Victoria and help stimulate the State’s economy. A new Departmental structure wascreated

Robert Buckingham has a long association with Australian design, fashion and retail sector as well as government and arts organisations through his work with Craft Victoria (1992-1996), the establishment and leadership of the Fashion Design Council of Australia (1984-1990) and Melbourne Fashion Festival (1996-2004). In these roles he has been responsible for the creative directionMARTIN CARLSON
Martin Carlson OAM’s early career in education and teaching was in Australia, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. This was followed by decade in management consulting with John Young, a pioneer in this field, before his long-term role with the Victorian Arts Centre Building Committee including ten years as deputy general manager of the Arts Centre, the opening of which heralded a time of PETER BREW | MPAVILION Peter Brew. Peter Brew is a lecturer in architecture and urban design at RMIT University. He has practiced as an architect in Melbourne for nearly three decades; he founded FIELD Consultants in 1994 with fellow architect Michael Markham—a practice which won both the 2000 RAIA Victorian Architecture Medal and the Harold Desbrowe-Annear Award for Michael’s own home, Holyoake Cottage.
